When two of my passions collided, creating art and gardening, this was the result. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved creating art in one form or fashion or another. When Covid took the world by storm in March of 2020, I planted a victory garden in my backyard. This is one of the sunflowers that grew taller than I stand. A year later I decided to use the photo as a reference for this painting. My goal was to make it look like stained glass.
