Freeze-dried avocados are prepped with lime juice before processing to extend the time to browning. Freeze-dried avocados brown quickly when opened, so we take the necessary precautions to ensure that what we store lasts. Each is packaged in a mylar bag with an oversized oxygen absorber. Know that what you get is what we store for our own family.

To rehydrate, put the avocado into a bowl with a bit of water based on your own preferences. Always start with less than what you need. You can always add more water. We love to make guacamole with ours and put them in our soups. More pictures coming.
